  • What is tempered or toughened glass?

Tempered or Toughened glass goes through a chemical or thermal process which makes it about 5 times stronger than non-toughened glass. As a result, if broken, the glass will break into small chunks as opposed to shards and splinters, lessening the likelihood of injury.

  • What is low-e glass?

Low-e glass is a unique glass which reduces a significant amount of UV rays. It’s effective at keeping fabrics, carpets and upholstery from fading. It also helps with reducing energy costs by reducing heat or cold from entering through the window. This potentially means less frequent use of air conditioning and heating.
